A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface and underground workings located in secs. 17 & 18, T14S, R13E.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with ore that is irregular and blobby hosted in andesite. Gangue is chlorite. Alteration is silicification.
Specular hematite, with chlorite (?) on joint surfaces of the material on the dump of the shaft. The shaft has recently been used as a water well. The prospect pit has a considerable amount of material that is veined with irregular, blobby, small clear quartz veins, and has chrysocolla (and minor azurite (?)) on fractures. The wallrock is generally also silicified.
Workings include a shaft. A prospect pit is located 20 meters due E of the shaft.
