A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface and underground workings located in sec. 31, T13S, R12E, on National Park property.
Mineralization is a skarn deposit with ore in stringers 0.02 meters wide, striking S87W and dipping 55S, hosted in limestone. There is much Cu-bearing material on the dump, mostly skarn with disseminated malachite plus Cu silicate and limonite. There are also irregular coarse calcite veinlets with minor quartz in which chalcopyrite blobs to 1 cm are common; some tenorite is associated with chalcopyrite. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite.
Workings includes a trench and short tunnel.
