A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface workings located in sec. 29, T13S, R12E, on National Park property.
Mineralization is a skarn deposit with a pod-shaped ore body 2 meters wide, hosted in arkose. Chalcopyrite relatively abundant in skarn material, partly altered to black tenorite (?) plus Cu silicate, and yellow-brown limonite. Chalcopyrite plus oxidation products from patches to 1 cm diameter throughout the skarn. 1-2 meters from the skarn pod is a 15 cm+ wide streak of limonite plus gypsum. Alteration includes pyrite-gossan; skarn.
Workings include a pit.
