A Cu-Zn occurrence/prospect with underground workings located in sec. 30, T13S, R12E, on National Park property.
Mineralization is a skarn deposit with a pod-shaped ore body hosted in arkose and limestone. A skarn-limestone contact (relations are the same as at prospect 117-6), exists on the W. side of the portal; skarn in sharp contact with light-gray hornfels (quartz-rich argillite) occurring on the E side of the portal. Malachite crusts are found mainly on dump material. Alteration is skarn. The skarn is localized in limestone.
Workings include an adit trending approximately N30E.
