A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface and underground workings located in sec. 31, T13S, R12E, on National Park property.
Mineralization is an ore zone 1 meter wide, striking S78W, and dipping 77S, hosted in arkose. Alteration includes pyrite-gossan; skarn. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite.
Local structures include a fault zone.
Massive limonite gossan occurs in a cut in the hillside by the shaft (after massive pyrite in skarn ?); the fault zone has limonite stain.
Workings include a shaft and prospect pit 10 meters N. of the shaft.
