A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface workings located in sec. 9, T13S, R12E.
Mineralization is a contact metasomatic deposit with ore in veinlets and as breccia filling in a zone 1 meter wide, striking N72E and dipping 32S, hosted in andesite. The hanging wall side of the shear zone is a 20-25 cm wide zone of shears & breccia. It is cemented with heavy dark purple hematite plus some quartz. 80 cm on the footwall side is bleached (argillized?) andesite. Cu silicate occurs on fractures throughout the zone. Alteration is argillitic. Ore control was fractures throughout the shear zone. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite.
Local structures include a shear zone.
Workings include a pit.
