A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface workings located in sec. 31, T13S, R12E, on National Park land.
Mineralization is a skarn deposit with an ore zone 3 meters thick, hosted in limestone. The limestone is at least 3 meters thick (vertical dimension - altitude ?), with the lower part altered to skarn. Limestone outcrops extend to the N. for about 50 meters. A few rock fragments in the vicinity have minor limonite and malachite coatings but no definite mineralization in the pit. The second (northerly) pit is in colluvium. Alteration is skarn. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite.
Workings include 2 pits.
