Bjørlykke (1939) places "Eptevann 1" 1 km SE of the farmhouses, but that is very doubtful since he says: "A feldspar quarry situated about l km southeast of the farm, near the main road."

South-east of the farm is a place in the middle of the forest, far away from the main road.
However, Stensrud (2009) writes: "Like ved veien ca 1 km sydvest for Eptevann finnes en ca 20 meter høy pegmatittrygg, der det er anlagt 2 brudd." (Close to the road ca. 1 km SW for Eptevann (farm or lake?) there is a 20 m high pegmatite ridge, in which 2 quarries were operative.)

This description is also inaccurate, since the quarries that he marks on his map, and that can be seen on the altitude map, are W of the farm or NW of the lake. His description of the quarries corresponds with what can be seen on the altitude map (hoydedata.no).

The coordinates are for the quarry closest to the road.
