A former small surface Pb-Ag mine located in the SW¼NE¼ sec. 21, T21S, R10E, 1 mile NNE of the Arivaca townsite, on private land. Operated 1947-1949. Operated by T.L. Stockwell.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hoasted in granite. Ore control was fractures in granite. Alteration includes oxidation, surface enrichment. Gangue is quartz.
The nearby Amado Mine contains argentiferous galena and sphalerite. This mine is not mentioned in ABGMT Bull. 189. It is the only prospect in the quarter section given by MILS.
