A Cu occurrence/prospect with surface workings located in secs. 8, T13S, R12E, on National Park land.
Mineralization is a contact metasomatic deposit with a tabular ore body 100 meters long, 0.5 meters wide, striking S38E and dipping 50E, hosted in andesite. Alteration includes propylitic. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite.
The fracture is characterized along its length by more or less silicification, more or less chloritization, and locally, breccia cemented with specular hematite and some quartz. Cu silicate on fractures occurs locally throughout, also limonite on fractures and in porous masses.
Workings includes 4 pits along the shear zone.
