Pajaru is a "Village Development Committee" (association of disperse villages and country houses, a kind of municipality) in NW of Jajarkot District, Bheri Zone, Mid-Western Nepal.

There are some dravite localities in Pajaru area. Ruwa, Tikachor and Jajaya are the most productive. Green dravite crystals are found at Tikachor and greenish-yellow ones at Jajaya. Ruwa dravite is mostly brown.(*)

Dravite-rich mica-schist outcrops in elevations over 2,000 meters are the prolific producer of these euhedral, biterminated, green to yellow to brown, translucent to transparent dravite crystals.
