The City of Medina Mine is one of several scattered copper/scheelite occurrences near Bonya. The mine is about 4 kilometres north of the Bonya Mine.
The site shows well bedded diopside calc-silicate rocks, described as being similar to the southern lode at the Jericho Mine, also in the district. The western side of the outcrop grades at 0.5% WO3, being over 3 metres wide, while the eastern half of the outcrop grades at much lower percentages at the surface. A small pegmatite outcrop 100 metres to the north also carries weakly disseminated scheelite. There is no copper at the City of Medina site, according to Ransom.
