Mineralization is a skarn deposit with a pod-like ore zone 3 meters wide and 2 meters thick, hosted in arkose. It is comprised of a massive magnetite-specular hematite-quartz-calcite mass with a 10-30 cm rim of epidote-calcite. The quartz-rich areas are vuggy, with malachite and limonite in vugs and on fractures. Some quartz-calcite-epidote skarn with disseminated chalcopyrite, partly oxidized to tenorite, and locally to limonite and malachite was found on the dump. Alteration is skarn. An associated rock unit is quartz monzonite.
Workings include a pit.
