The Town of Warwick encompasses a large number of important mineral localities, including type localities for minerals and internationally significant specimens. Most of these specimens were found between the settlements named Amity and Edenville, located in the western area of the town. The mineral-producing bedrock is PreCambrian age Franklin Marble. Specimen finds have been made both in bedrock exposures and in float boulders.
