Formerly: Mica and Apatite Occurrence, Highway 5 extension, Hull Township, Gatineau Co., Québec, Canada
Apatite crystals were found in vugs, weathered out of calcite, during construction. Nearby, in a related occurrence, large crystals of amber mica (possibly phlogopite) were found.
Both zones were exposed by blasting for the southbound lane in 2008-2009. The apatite and smaller euhedral micas were on the east cut, the large micas near the west cut.
