Beehive #1 pegmatite


An albite-rich pegmatite body, located along the Delmoe lake road five miles north of Homestake Pass. The new roadbed literally crosses this pegmatite, which is adjacent to the #2 pegmatite body. A number of cavities were opened over a period of several years, yielding many attractive specimens, some with beautiful delicate sky-blue cleavelandite.
