Ancient copper mines, which gave great importance to the principle of exploitation (1787) to find Cinnabar which made extremely overestimate their potential precisely at a time of maximum importance of mercury in gold mining (Almaden)

The presence of mercury in the form of cinnabar in this field is very minor and probably related to alteration of tetrahedrite besides the presence of crystalline Cuprite could do more confusion.

Possibly the paragenesis of alteration minerals from this mine should be widest by the presence of copper Sulphosalts and Cinnabar with the presence of Perroudite an example of this.

The samples of Malachite are very remarkable and spectacular specimens had to leave during the exploitation.
