Vertical veins, 2 to 25 m wide and up to 2 meters long, cutting hydrothermally altered basalt (Tschernich 1992). On the northern side of the Hvalfjordur and thus in the Western Region.
Erronously spelled as Hvalsgod in Tschernich (1992): 524.
