Geology: This prospect consists of small veins or replacement pods of chalcopyrite in altered, mafic metavolcanic rocks (greenstone) of Paleozoic(?) age (Csejtey and Miller, 1978). A sample of greenstone contains 5,000 parts per million copper (Miller and others, 1978).
Workings: Only surface sampling by the U.S. Geological Survey (Miller and others, 1978).
Alteration: The greenstone host rocks are altered but the type of alteration is not specified (Singer and others, 1978).

Commodities (Major) - Cu
Development Status: None
Deposit Model: Basaltic Cu? (Cox and Singer, 1986; model 23?)
