Walker (1960) reported zeolites at several localities around Fáskrúðsfjörður including:
- At 2200 ft, 3,5 miles west of the head of the fjord (Fáskrúðsfjörður). In the stratigraphic unit, Graenavatn Porphyritic basalt group. Feldspar-porphyritic basalts.
- At 900 ft in the corrie west of Mt. Digritindur, southwestof head of Fjord (Fáskrúðsfjörður). In a feldspar-porphyritic basalt.
