Open pit uranium mine, working calcite stockworks with uranium oxide mineralization. The deposit was discovered during the 1920s and mined from 1935, first for radium and later for uranium. Since 1972, uranium is mined by underground acidic leaching. The total production from the deposit amounts to 1,000 tons of uranium oxide.
