Abandoned quarry, situated 3 km N of the town Chýnov (N of Tábor) on the S slope of Pacova Hora, 711 m (Pacova Hill). The quarry was founded at the beginning of the 19th century in marble, later (from 1969) amphibolites, skarns (erlanes, tactites) and quartzites were mined.

Pacova hora is a nature reserve in the district of Tábor. It is located in the Křemešnická Highlands, 2 km southwest of Dolní Hořice. The reservation is connected to the Chýnovská Cave, which is located to the east.
