A former lode Au mine located in sec. 18, T2S, R16E, MDM, 3.9 km (2.4 miles) NNE of Peñon Blanco Peak (coordinates of record), in the headwaters area of Moccasin Creek (2 miles N of Tuolumne County line on highway 49, sign No. 7887; about 4½ miles S of Big Oak Flats; 5 miles N of Coulterville), on private (patented) land. Owned and operated by Jerry and Joan Dubson (100.00%), California (1981). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.

Mineralization is a quartz vein deposit with quartz veins in bunch-like bodies. The ore body strikes NW and dips E at a thickness of 30.48 meters. The highest grade ore occurs in talcose veins in association with quartz near the hanging wall. Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).

Workings include unspecified underground openings.
