Drio le Pale, also known as Do' le Pale and locally as Do' le Pele (this last toponym is reported on the official map Carta Tecnica Provinciale at 1:10,000 scale of the Autonomous Province of Trento and on the popular Kompass maps), is a classic locality, famous for analcime and red heulandite.

The mineral area, in which a thick succession of Ladinic volcanites occur, consists of the middle-upper part of the steep amphitheatre, drained by Ruf de Ciariadoi, between ca. 1800 m and the crestline Col de Jadoi or Col de Zacaron (2097 m) - Col Bel (2436 m) - unnamed point at 2222 m to the north of Ciamp de Poza.
