To the north of Lozovoye broken-stone quarry (0,5 km), carboniferous limestone (with calcite fine veins) was produced in an unnamed abandoned quarry.
This locality is the only one in Crimea where macroscopic crystals of fluorite (to 5 mm) can be found.
