Stratiform tin (cassiterite) and polymetallic sulphide (pyrite, chalcopyrite, minor sphalerite and galena) deposits, associated with quartzite and quartz-phyllite inclusions in schists. The deposits were jointly worked by several mines from the late 17th to the early 19th century. The iron sulphides were used for sulphuric acid production.
Located SSW of Aue, NE of Bockau and WSW of Lauter.
