Lualeni Mine

V-bearing, green grossular (3% V2O3, 0.2% Cr2O3), "tsavorite", as porphyroblasts in a graphite-bearing clinopyroxene rock.
Located 40 km SW of Voi, on the steep western slope of Kide hill. Discovered in 1973.
The mine actually consists of three mines (nos. 1, 2 and 3) (Pohl & Niedermayr, 1979).
