Metabauxite occurrence on the eastern coast of Samos.
A ca. 130 m sized body of low-grade metamorphic bauxite occurs embedded in calcite marble. In an abandoned quarry the metabauxite has been mined as raw material.

Not to be confused with the Mikro-Lakka Emery deposit in western Samos.
