The large dump north-east of the settlement of Agios Konstandinos was started in 1926 and famous among collectors. It was primarily used to dump host rock and ore that was too low grade for processing. Later it was also used as an interim storage facility. The material initially came from the Hilarion adit, but later waste from all other mines in the area was dumped there, especially Christiana material. Hence the entire suite of minerals described from the nearby mines can be expected to be found there.
