Lauvland 2 feltspatbrudd (Bagli), Lauvland, Evje og Hornnes, Agder, Norge
Andersen (1931) designation: Lauvland II (Bagli).
The original Bagli locality is a small quarry where until 1927 260 tons of feldspar and 112 tons of coarse grained graphic granite ("tint" in Norwegian) where mined.
Next to this locality, another, much larger quarry has been in operation in more recent times.
This quarry worked the same pegmatite as the original locality, but it seems that it was not a feldspar quarry, but was worked for construction material.
A quick look did not reveal any accessory minerals, apart from magnetite.
At 58.55684,7.84287 a tiny prospect can be found. Maybe an extension of the Bagli pegmatite?
The Mindat coordinates are for the original Bagli locality.
