Ophite outcrops with hydrothermal alteration. Tourmaline is just in the center of schorl-dravite series. Close to this area in the Canarill ravine, there are some ophitic outcrops which have provided titanite, hematite, microcline, etc. Unfortunately, nowadays it is not allowed to collect minerals in this area because it is included in Sant Gervàs protected natural area.
Epidote in voids of augite gabbro.
Located near Escales reservoir (eastern border) at an altitude of ca. 1500 m.
NOTE: The locality is in a Nature Reserve ("Serra de Sant Gervàs"); picking up rocks is allowed but no digging, heavy equipment etc.
