Andersen's (1931) designation of the quarry: "Underland 1" (p. 101).

This is the largest of the Undeland quarries. How the quarry looked like in Andersen's time (1930s) is not known.

In his description, Andersen (1931) combined several small quarries as "Underland 1". This make it difficult to pinpoint which is which of the correct quarry of minerals found after Andersens time.

The Undeland 1 quarry is a feldspar quarry in a granite pegmatite dike located about 700 m NV of the houses of the western Undeland farm.

The coordinates are for the entrance of the tunnel leading to the water-filled quarry.

NOTE:
It is strongly adviced not to visit this quarry, due to the presence of several holiday houses in the vicinity. For mineral collectors this quarry is of hardly any significance. The exposures of pegmatite in the tunnel are nice, but those in the Li mine are much more spectacular.
