An old silver mine, variously known as Teichgräber adit, Weißer Silberhirsch Mine or Weißer Hirsch Mine. It was first documented in 1601, when it produced silver and copper ores, but possibly started work much earlier. It was worked intermittently until 1665, and reworked from 1707 until 1748. During the last working period, it raised mainly cobalt ores.
The mine worked on the following veins:
- Teichgräber Flacher
- Weißhirscher Morgengang (Weißer Silberhirsch Morgengang)
Note: Not to be confused with the Teichgräber deep adit (Tiefer Teichgräber Stolln), which formed part of the Kippenhain mine workings.
