Nickel mine, started in 1997.
The mining rights stretch over the farms Slaaihoek and Uitkomst. Nkomati Mine is a joint venture between African Rainbow Minerals (Pty) Ltd and Norilsk Nickel, and produces mainly nickel.

Located 45 kilometres west of Barberton and 35 kilometres east of Machadodorp.
