A former Ag-Au-As-mine in the Seekar on the N-slope of the Stubenriegel, south of the Lanisch lakes. Locals call this mine Stubenriegel.

The mine has been recorded in the 14th century and the first known owner was Margarethe Hirsch in 1560. At that time the ore (paying gravel, 'Kies') was washed and separated right below the adit. The remains of this processing facility are still visible. The concentrate was melted down-valley in the Veithütte.
The mine comprised 2 adits (Herrenbau and Schurfstollen), several open pits (Versuchsschürfe) used for prospecting and processing facilities as well as a smithy and accommodation for the miners (Knappenhaus).

Note: The reference “Niedermayr, G. (1999): Neue Mineralfunde aus Osterreich XLVIII, p. 213“ mentions erroneously that the Herrenbau is in the Ödenlanisch. The Herrenbau is actually on the N-slope of the Stubenriegel.
