Outcrop of coarse-grained garnet peridotite at the northeastern part og the Helgehornsvatnet near Lien Farm .

Nice specimens of garnet peridotite, a garnet-lherzolite with greenish chromian diopside and reddish chromian pyrope were collected here in the 1970s and the beginning of 1980s. The site were blasted heavily for decorative rock specimens specimen. These are often erronously labelled " eclogite". The locality is now protected as a national natural heritage site (Law of 16.11.1984 nr. 1895), and collecting is strictly forbidden.
