Ringdalskogen industrial area is located along the Hedrum Ravei, close to the new alignment of the highway E 18, northeast of Rødbøl roadcut and close to the border between the municipalities of Sandefjord and Larvik. During construction of this industrial site (2008-2009), a small pegmatite embedded in larvikite was blasted away along tons of larvikite rocks, and for a short period, there was a temporary quarry here (which produced material for road construction). The pegmatite was especially rich in blue sodalite.
