Cantera de préstamos Soliva (Cantera de trabajos del AVE; Cantera AVE), Can Sala, Riudarenes, La Selva, Girona (Gerona), Catalunya (Cataluña), España


Quarry for extraction of altered Hercynian granites used as gravel in the AVE (Spanish high-speed Railway) workings between Barcelona and the French border. Now the quarry is restored so there is no collecting of specimens anymore. The quarry has been known by the collectors with different names: AVE Quarry, AVE works Quarry, AVE works, Quarry of filling material for the AVE laying.

Geologically the deposit is related to the neighbouring Mas Ceber (Massabé) Quarry.
