A historical province (landskap) in the northern part of Sweden.
The province of Västerbotten lies along the western coast of the Botnian Bay in northern Sweden. Since 1971 it consists of the following municipalities.
- Norsjö
- Robertsfors
- Skellefteå
- Umeå
- Vindeln
- Vännäs

Not to be confused with the modern Västerbotten County which consists of the historical provinces of Västerbotten, half of Lappland and the northern part of Ångermanland.
