A patented precious opal mine consisting of two lode mining claims (Dorothy Rae & Nicki #1), in Section 7, T45N R26E MDM.
Surveyed as United States Mineral Survey (MS) #4982. United States Mineral Patent #27-83-0059 was issued on September 15, 1983, containing 35.668 acres.
The mine lies to the south of the old Miserable Mitch placer claim and to the southwest of the old Opal Queen Mine.
