North of Thorshavn, close by a Power Station. In 2011 the quarry was partly overgrown and recently used as a storage yard and now a paint ball venue.
While in 2016 the analcime/mesolite vein was still accessible and productive, it is now in June 2018 covered by 10 m of gravel as base the new access road to the construction site of a (power?) plant in the old Sund quarry.
