A former Cr occurrence/claim/mine located in sec. 14, T38N, R6W, MDM, 5.3 km (3.3 miles) SW of Boulder Peak (coordinates of record), along Crow Creek near its confluence with Willets Ravine, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
NOTE: MRDS file #10263267 provides coordinates placing this location at a latitude value of 41°38'56"N. This value is in obvious error since it places the location well into Siskiyou County. Research reveals that the value of 41°8'56"N is probably correct and brings the location into the area described.
