Several syenite pegmatite dikes were exposed in the middle of the 1970s during road constructions of a new alignment of the Highway E18.

The "chiavennite-dike":
An irregular syenite pegmatite dike at Blåfjell, at the NW end of the Langangen Bridge. Only remnants of the pegmatite is left and visible today in a roadcut. The pegmatite was heavily zeolitized. The first find of chiavennite worldwide was made here.

The "ferrochiavennite-dike":
A dike located about 100 m west of the "chiavennite-dike".
