Description: 2 different variety can be found : - a true acicular habit, with different terminations : {111}(losangic faces - see http://www.mindat.org/photo-550262.html) or {011} (triangular faces - see http://www.mindat.org/photo-550263.html) - needles intergrowth : seems to be a filling of partly dissolved calcite (or other specie ?) cleavages. the calcite dissolution completed after galena cristallisation, leaving needles with non orthogonal interpenetration. see http://www.mindat.org/photo-445292.html
