History:
1920: Thompson-Lundmark Mines Ltd. - Sunk a shaft 30 feet deep. Fifty pounds of silver were recovered from the intersection of No. 2 and No. 3 veins.
1951-52: McWatters Gold Mines Ltd. - 17 DD-1273 ft.
1956: Hasaga Gold Mines Limited - property acquisition, DD-10-660 ft.
1960 - Sicanor Mines Limited - mapping, sampling, ground geophysics.
2001: Diamond Lake Resources Inc. - sampling vein of calcite in diabase and obtained values of up to 68.6KG/T Ag & 5% Co

Geology:

There are three main veins at this occurrence. Veins No 1 and 2 strike east and vein No. 3 strikes north. Vein No. 3 intersects No. 2. The No. 2 vein has been traced 380 feet east across the fault through Collins Lake.
