Pb-Zn-Ag-Cu mine.

Ocorrências de chumbo e zinco; filonianas e stockwerks em metassedimentos paleozóicos.
Dois filões de quartzo brechificado, com sulfuretos metálicos e carbonatos de Fe e Mn, distantes 7 m, orientados N 65º E, quase verticais e com 0,35 m de possança média. Mineralizações pós-hercínicas.

Na década de 50 o SFM reconheceu no sector meridional do Antiforma do Cercal o jazigo filoniano do Torgal (Gomes e Gaspar 1956), formado por dois filões equidistantes cerca de 7m e de direcção geral N75ºE, com cerca de 5800 t com 13,2 % Pb, 6,4 % Zn, 0,6 % Cu e 153 ppm Ag (filão principal) e cerca de 3200 t com 19,5 % Pb, 6,8 % Zn, 0,2 % Cu e 185 ppm Ag (filão secundário), Carvalho 1971. O minério é formado por galena, blenda ferrífera, pirite e calcopirite, com carbonatos de ferro e de manganés e quartzo associados.
