Located 12.5 kilometres south-west of Daly Bore. Possibly this is called Daly's Bore and was located approximately 10 kilometres south of Mount Gascoyne, in turn about 50 kilometres due east of the Mooloo Downs Homestead. It is a remote and not easily reached location, at the far eastern edge of the Yinnietharra area.

Between 1974-1983, the Wabli pegmatite was explored by Great Mines Ltd and Nickel Mines Ltd for uranium. Kookynie Resources NL explored the pegmatite for rare earths from 1988-1990. This involved a small amount of test mining for samarskite and other un-named minerals.

It is a swarm of narrow pegmatites over a 2.5 kilometres strike length trending north-west to south-east. The pegmatites are found within biotite schists and gneisses near the margins of a granitoid. One of these pegmatites contained samarskite-ilmenorutile rich linear zones flanking both sides of a quartz core. The species were also found at other pegmatites in the immediate area. Pyrochlore, columbite and euxenite was also found. The reference alludes to the belief the rare earth species it lists for the location maybe incomplete. It is assumed a detailed analysis of this location is lacking, and the exploration concentrated purely on finding economic viable minerals.

Mindat map marks Wabli Creek only.
