Massive of albite-aegirine nepheline-syenites (mariupolites). Located close to Volnovakha city in Priazovie.
The massif was found during field works of French geologist F. Le-Play in 1837-1839.

Kupletskite and perraultite are Zn-bearing. Composition of hendricksite: K(Zn1.5Mg0.9Mn0.5Li0.1)(Al0.9Si3.1O10)(OH)1.5F0.5.

Secondary cancrinite, Na-, Ca- and C-depleted, with specific cathodoluminescence features (likely concerning O* center), is described by Dumańska-Słowik et al. (2016). Its empirical formula is (Na5.88K<0.01)∑5.88(Ca0.62 Fe0.01Mn0.01Zn<0.01Mg<0.01)∑0.64[Si6.44Al5.56O24](CO3)0.67(OH)0.26(F<0.01,Cl<0.01)·2.04H2O. The parent fluids, rich in Na, Ca, F, Cl, and bicarbonate, also deposited calcite, fluorite, natrolite, and sodalite.
