Almada is a municipality of the district of Setúbal.
Due to an administrative merger held in 2013 some new and bigger parishes were formed:
1 - Almada, Cova da Piedade, Pragal and Cacilhas
2 - Caparica and Trafaria
3 - Charneca de Caparica and Sobreda
4 - Costa da Caparica
5 - Laranjeiro and Feijó
