The creek is approximately 50 kilometres north-west of Meekatharra.
Simpson gives no details further on the location, who or when it was found. It is a fragment held in the Western Australian Museum collection.
Simpson describes kamacite plates 0.2-2mm with an average of 0.5mm. There are several inclusions of cohenite. The meteorite shows a pronounced development of fine octahedral ridges over large areas of the fused crust, produced by the differential oxidation of the two nickel iron alloys during flight. Its appearance impressed Simpson. It is a fine to medium octahedrite.
The Meteoritical Society lists the meteorite as being found in 1922 and the coordinates are from the Society.
